2014 ONESHOT Scholarship Winners

Hello! My name is Madison Browning; I am a 2014 ONESHOT Scholarship recipient. I graduated from West Blocton High School in May of 2012. I started my college education in July of 2012 at the University of Alabama, where I was a member of the Million Dollar Band Color Guard. I transferred to the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August of 2014 where I went to school to become a dental assistant. I graduated in July of 2015 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received my certificate in dental assisting. I now have a full-time job as a general and endodontic dental assistant at Woodstock Dental Care. Working in dental is the perfect job for me! I will continue my education in dentistry to become a dental hygienist in July of 2016. Thank you to Gary and the ONESHOT scholarship for helping me achieve my dreams and goals, and for giving me the opportunity to continue my education.

It really is "The SCHOLARSHIP for Everyone!"

My name is Morgan Russell. I'm from Rutland, Ohio and I graduated from Meigs Highschool in May of 2014. I'm currently attending Hocking College and majoring in Natural Resources Law Enforcement. After obtaining my Associates of Applied Science in Natural Resources, my ultimate goal is to become a game warden. The One Shot Scholarship has encouraged me to chase my dreams and never give up. It has showed me that even though I'm a female going into a male field, I have ONESHOT and I am going to make it.

My name is Brittany Durst. I am from Meigs High School, in Pomeroy Ohio. I plan to get my Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Rio Grande, then continue on for a Masters degree. My goal is to get a Social Work degree and aid children and families in need. The ONESHOT Scholarship has given me the opportunity to continue my education to get me closer to my goal. This May, I am getting my Social Services Associates degree then applying for the Social Work program at Rio Grande.
